Wood Shop
The wood shop is located on the first floor of the art annex, across the loading dock from Lab I, and easily accessible from parking lot B. A variety of classes are offered every quarter for students of any level to hone their woodworking skills. Hours of operation vary quarterly‚ so check the schedule before you go. Programs with an emphasis in 3D design work are allotted studio time in the wood shop where faculty members and aides are present to assist the students in completing their sculptural and/or functional pieces safely. Open hours are also available to students who pass a thorough proficiency test. Questions about the wood shop and its use policies can be directed to adjunct faculty member Daryl Morgan. Open hours change quarter to quarter and can even vary week to week. View the metal/wood shop schedule (PDF) regularly to see the hours access is permitted.
