Media Arts Facilities & Technology

Evergreen offers students, faculty and staff access to a broad range and style of media production facilities as well as technical and instructional support like no other college.

CCAM

(the Center for Creative and Applied Media is a complete digital media production facility opened Fall 2009)

The CCAM houses Media Engineering, the new TV Studio, and more.
Evergreen offers advanced media access and education in a highly-current and technologically fluid environment.

As the College's media hub, the CCAM provides functional studio space for production, teleconferencing, broadcast across the college's audio-visual and computer networks, and preservation of a burgeoning collection of media files (audio, video, film, etc.) in formats that are accessible in today's technological environment.

Electronic Media

Animation, Audio Studios, Event Production, Film Editing, Music Technology, Video Editing
Electronic Media (EM) provides technical media instruction, facility support for Animation, Audio Studios, Film Editing, Music Tech Labs, Video Editing plus production support for campus events. EM also supports A/V-equipped spaces across campus.

Media Loan

Advanced Production Services, Audio Studio and Online Media Resources
Media Loan circulates audio/video and photographic equipment to Evergreen students, faculty and staff. We also schedule and check out keys for media facilities on campus as well as providing AV key access to the AV classrooms in the library, Seminar building and Lecture Halls.

Photoland

(a complete production facility for photographers and still image makers)

Photo Production Services, the Digital Imaging Studio (DIS) and the Photo Center.
Photoland provides the Evergreen community with photo production services, instruction, supplies and support. Traditional and digital production facilities are available. Some services are available to the community at large.

Sound and Image Library

(SAIL - a wide variety of digital and other media: LP's and CD's, LaserDiscs, DVDs & films - available for loan)
